The weather has been very tricky the past few months- late snow, cold rainy May and now we are right in the middle of June. I am planting bush beans, pole beans, soybeans, a new batch of lettuce, tomato, pepper and eggplant seedlings, cucumbers, squash, pumpkins, nasturtium, just to name a few. And sunflowers. And basil. And potatoes.
Good news is that it is NOT TOO LATE TO PLANT!!!!

I have been growing some pretty sweet seedlings that will be for sale at some local Farmer’s Markets over the next month. Some of these nifty plants include tomatoes, (like Black Krim, Garden Peach and Hillbilly Potato Leaf), lunchbox peppers, pickling cucumbers, parsley, basil, etc. Some of the seedlings are on the small side, but they are strong and so happy now that it is warmer outside.
If you live in the Acton, MA area come visit me at the Acton-Boxborough Farmer’s Market tomorrow, June 18 from 10-1 (yay! )
or send me a message to pick up plants at the farm. kate@daisyhillfarm.us

I will also be selling a small amount of produce (leek scapes, radishes, lettuce)

Radishes are so simple, so pretty. Last year I did a quick pickle with them and they were awesome.

Happy Growing!
